Our Background

Bourne Stringing was established in 2014 to provide high quality tennis racket restringing to leisure, club and tournament tennis players in the south Canterbury areas or Bridge, Bekesbourne and Littlebourne.

As an active tennis player of more than 15 years, I’ve tried and tested many brands of strings and numerous rackets over the years to find the perfect blend of power, control, spin and ultimately comfort as a result of severe tennis elbow.

Many months later and several rackets play-tested and strung, I’ve gained an invaluable amount of first hand knowledge of different racket brands and specifications, string types and technologies, as well as ideal string and racket set ups to get the very best performance.

This long journey has enabled me to pass on my experience directly to customers, so they can benefit from the many years of trial and error I endured.

Our Growth

Not long after establishing Bourne Stringing, the service has gained increased popularity through word of mouth and online, and I now provide stringing to customers much further afield covering the whole of East Kent and beyond.

Now over 8 years in business, I’ve strung well over 2000 rackets for several hundred highly satisfied customers.
