COVID-19 Update – We’re Operating as Normal

Bourne Stringing are pleased to announce that we are open for business and operating as normal.

During these difficult times, it is understandable that many tennis players are desperate to get back onto the court and exercise as soon as possible.

So we hope that you will be relieved to learn that we are fighting fit, fully healthy and ready to restring your rackets once again.

Distancing Measures

We would like to assure everyone that we are taking every measure we feel is necessary to safeguard our customers from any (however unlikely) transmission of COVID-19 between our team and yourself.

For those customers who are vulnerable or concerned with social distancing measures and wish to maintain a safe distance when dropping off or collecting rackets, we are happy to receive tennis rackets left at the front door of our premises without any direct contact with yourselves.

This can be done for drop off and collection of your rackets.

Please speak to us if you wish to have this arranged.

Safety Protocols

Once we receive your racket, we endeavour to ensure the frame is fully sanitised with anti-bacterial wipes and common touch points including the grip/handle are covered with a sanitised plastic wrap during restringing.

After the restring is complete, we will once again ensure the racket frame is cleaned and ready to hand back to you as safely as possible.

Preventative Measures

We do ask any customers who have had a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 to ensure they are clear and healthy before coming to our premises for a racket restring.

Any customers who have had the virus are kindly asked to replace the current over-grip with a new one before handing over to us.

This is to ensure there is no possible viral agents left on the grip which could transmit to us.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
